WEEKLY BLURB: Happy Fathers day on Sunday to all fathers! Is it in some of your countries on another date?
TO COMMENT: Click on the title of this post, scroll and the comment form will appear on bottom of this post
Am relieved to have an excuse to post and look at the clouds and trees – since I spent a day trying to figure out if my computer has a template for a manuscript for the novel I’m writing. Feel like it’s finding the algabraic X-Factor! On the third day …YES I rather have an X in trees, like here:)
(1) A few weeks ago I mentioned at the meme SEASONS that the green had turned brown. Fortunately we have red soil here, so it does not look dismal. (Good Fences)
(2) THE GOOD: swimming between the sand dunes in Yosemite’s Nat. Park’s valley. The place from where I’m paining this scene is in the shade, but not as idyllic -prickly grasses and mosquitoes! Can you see how much I suffer for my passion (haha)
(Weekend Reflections, Trees & Bushes, Waterworld)
(3) Entrance Door of Town Hall Auburn, CA (down town in a small street, so I only could take half of the door) An old treasure!
In memory of the fifty who were senselessly killed in Orlando, FL and their grieving loved ones.
This flower is the same as the ones below
Fri Hunt:
Begin with Y: Yosemite Sand Dunes (2)
Weeks Favorite: Last pic
In Shoes: Pine cones In my Sandals – almost forgot to take them inside. The sandals I had to buy – one of those emergency buys) bought in Italy, because the ones I had gave me blisters!

THE FUN: Approaching Summer -I love late afternoon to early evenings, when it takes the sun a few hours to say goodbye to the day.

Hello, lovely post. I would think it is gorgeous there this time of the year. My family enjoyed a trip to Yosemite one summer and we loved the views, waterfalls, park and the huge trees. I love your pretty flower and the gorgeous Egret. Beautiful sky capture. Wishing you a happy day and weekend ahead!

I love trees. Neighbors a couple blocks up cut down two, hundred year old oaks on their property last week. I can no longer walk past their house, it depresses me. It’s like lining up humans and shooting them, to me.

Gorgeous shot of the Egret, the yellow flower that I think might be Hyperium but my favourite shot is the last one.

What a plesant post. The fence shot is really nice, I like the red dirt. What a pretty area to sit and paint but I agree, mosquito’s are not fun! Lovely yellow flower.

I love your portrait of you and your easel! Auburn is such a lovely little town. I always stop there when I have to pass through it. Somewhere I have an image of the Town Hall. The yellow flower is gorgeous! Have a great week-end!

I like the sky and floral photos. Mosquitoes really bother me as do the toxic gnats, which I am allergic to.

I really like the “trees watching clouds” shot!

Great photos – especially the first one which reminds me of hiking … following the trail across the street and up the next hill. Wish I had a dollar for ever time I’ve done that move!! 🙂

What wonderful photos. I’d be hard-pressed to pick a favourite — they are all beautiful. But I do love the white, white feathers of that bird on the shore. And the clouds …
