Am relieved to have an excuse to post and look at the clouds and trees – since I spent a day trying to figure out if my computer has a template for a manuscript for the novel I’m writing. Feel like it’s  finding the algabraic X-Factor! On the third day …YES    I rather have an X in trees, like here:)

(1) A few weeks ago I mentioned at the meme SEASONS that  the green had turned brown. Fortunately we have red soil here, so it does not look dismal. (Good Fences)

(2) THE GOOD: swimming between the sand dunes in Yosemite’s Nat. Park’s valley. The place from where I’m paining this scene is in the shade, but not as idyllic -prickly grasses and mosquitoes! Can you see how much I suffer for my passion (haha)

  1. Hello, lovely post. I would think it is gorgeous there this time of the year. My family enjoyed a trip to Yosemite one summer and we loved the views, waterfalls, park and the huge trees. I love your pretty flower and the gorgeous Egret. Beautiful sky capture. Wishing you a happy day and weekend ahead!

  2. I love trees. Neighbors a couple blocks up cut down two, hundred year old oaks on their property last week. I can no longer walk past their house, it depresses me. It’s like lining up humans and shooting them, to me.

  3. What a plesant post. The fence shot is really nice, I like the red dirt. What a pretty area to sit and paint but I agree, mosquito’s are not fun! Lovely yellow flower.

  4. I love your portrait of you and your easel! Auburn is such a lovely little town. I always stop there when I have to pass through it. Somewhere I have an image of the Town Hall. The yellow flower is gorgeous! Have a great week-end!

  5. Great photos – especially the first one which reminds me of hiking … following the trail across the street and up the next hill. Wish I had a dollar for ever time I’ve done that move!! 🙂

  9. Those sunny yellow hypericums are wonderful, Jesh. I think the horror and consternation for the Orlando massacre is worldwide…
