Huntington Walk

Here I was sitting in what I call the other bedroom printing room. Working on my first draft, since at the other end of the house loud hammering is going on (for two weeks), in repairing the balcony.
I should be getting ready, because 3 of the grandkids would be coming with their parents,

One of the few times they were sleeping, was in the car – probably all tired out, ’cause 3-year old Peach underneath her polka dot blanket got seriously car sick,  which made the trip 8 hours .

Instead of sprucing up my house, I looked at the rainforest pics (in a building of the Huntington Library gardens in Pasadena, CA we visited a few years ago) – no sense of responsibility, lol!

Regularly  a big cloud of steam is released for a few seconds to keep it extremely humid

 Finished this post after the kiddies were gone,
with angel clouds watching me, I washed a heap of sheets,
towels, and blankets, rearranged my furniture, washed the dishes, picked up an umphteen items they had left,
because now it’s quiet and I can focus.

While I was in graduate training at the time my 3 kids were elementary and junior high school age,
people asked me “How do you do it??”

Now I’m beginning to wonder  myself!
I’m exhausted from having those 3 (+ 2)  for only one week
